On the Yachiho Plateau in Kita Yatsugatake, we renovated a small villa on the slopes of the Fairy Tale Route. When I was a kid, I would wander the hills and fields, exploring and building secret bases. None were ever finished, but that was the starting point for my passion of building unique, get away spaces. Juksul’s villa’s warm interior has been renovated by hand to reflect the excitement I felt having a secret base. The surrounding Yachiho Plateau is a great area for nature walks, including Shirakomaike pond and a stunning, white birch forest. If you are interested in visiting a charming and diverse countryside, surrounded by nature and all its beauty, then this would be the place for you.
